Simikot is the gate way of Mt. Kailash from western Nepal, the trail goes
with mighty Karnali river until ascend for Pani Palbang. This takes 6
days trek to get Hilsa border, from border Our Land cruiser will pick up
you for entire tour in Tibet. This six days treks from Simikot to Hilsa
is probably a best trek to explore western Nepal as well as ethnic group
of people with unique culture and histoical places.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, stay over night at hotel.
Day 04: Fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot (2950m) then trek to Dharapuri
(2330m)
Day 05: Trek to Yanger (2850m)
Day 06: Trek to Torea (3380m)
Day 07: Trek to Yari (3600m)
Day 08: Rest day in Yari
Day 09: Trek to Hilsa (3650m) Via Nara-La (4580m)
Day 10: Jeep drive to Purang (3880m)
Day 11: Trek to Manasarovar (4650m)
Day 12: Manasarovar
Day 13: Drive to Darchan (4650m)
Day 14: Trek to Kailash (4890m)
Day 15: Trek to Donkhang (5200m)
Day 16: Trek to Puk Gompa (4790m) via Dolma-La (5630m)
Day 17: Trek back to Darchan
Day 18: Drive to Lhatsa
Day 19: Drive to Sigatse and Visit Sakya and Tashilunpo
Day 20: Drive to Lhasa.
