 It is
possible to make a tour to Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar combining
with the highlighted places of central Tibet such as Lhasa,
Gyantse, Shigatse, and Sakya). Generally, our tour covers
Lhasa, Gyantse and Shigats. Eventually it merges with the
major route (Kathmandu-Kailash) in Saga (small Tibetan town) the
continue follow the same route for the entire journey. Our tour to Mt.
Kailash & Lake Manasarovar from Lhasa requires at least 15 days.
However, depending on the time frame and places we would like to cover
in the tour, the tour can go longer or even shorter as per the clients
desire.
Itinerary
Day 01: Flight into Lhasa, Transfer to your Hotel
Day 02: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkor Bazaar
Day 03: Tibet Museum, Norbulinka (Summer Palace of Dalai Lama), Sera
Monastery
Day 04: Lhasa-Gyangtse
Day 05: Gyangtse-- Shigatse City
Day 06: Shigatse city-Sangsang
Day 07: Sangsang-Zhongba
Day 08: Zhongba-Darchen
Day 09: Drive to Darboche and commence trek to Dera Phuk Gomba (4860m).
O/N camp
Day 10: Cross Dolma-La (5600 m.) and trek down to Zutul Phuk Gomba
(4760m). O/N camp
Day 11: Finish treks and Drive to Payang
Day 12: Payang-Sangsang
Day 13: Sangsang-Shigatse
Day 14: Shigatse--Lhasa
Day 15: Exit from Tibet.
